Ada Marie Dixon passed away on July 30, 2019 at The Heritage Center after complications from a stroke.
Born February 20, 1932, in Etsy, WV to Vesta Victoria and Frank Thomas Dixon. She graduated from Renick High School as Valedictorian and went on to obtain her LPN and X-Ray Technician licenses and worked many years at Morristown Hamblen Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters: Leonard, Grover, Preston, Eugene, Estel, Elmer, Stella McMillion, Brucie Nelson, Flora Walton, Maxie Lewis and Bessie Lewis.
Ada leaves her sister-in-law: Jean Dixon, niece and caregiver, Sharon (Harry) Morris, many other loving nieces and nephews, her special family, Ruth and James Slover, Victoria and Mike Bratton, Rachel and Paul Howard, and many wonderful friends.
Visitation will be Friday, August 2, 2019 from 6:00 until 7:30 PM at Mayes Mortuary with funeral services to follow with Pastor James Williams of Grace Baptist Church officiating and music by Mike Martin.
There will be a visitation Sunday, August 4, 2019 from 2:00 until 3:00 PM at Morgan Funeral Home, 252 Montvue Dr., Lewisburg, WV. Burial with graveside service will be in Ellis Chapel Cemetery in Renick, WV.
