Agnes K. Simmons

LEWISBURG, WV- Agnes K. Simmons, 100, of Lewisburg, WV passed away Sunday, December 8, 2024, at Seasons Place. Born June 21, 1924, in Spice, WV (Droop Mountain) she was the daughter of the late Wallace Preston and Nannie Mary McCoy Kershner.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer H. Simmons, son, James Simmons, brothers, Sterling, Bland, Wallace, Clyde, Roy and John Kershner and sisters, Verdie May, Grace Stangeland, Zeda Dower and Hazel Cochran.

She is survived by a host of nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, December 16, 2024, at the Oak Grove Cemetery, Hillsboro, WV with Pastor Tim Scott officiating.  There will be no visitation. Online guestbook can be signed at www.morganfh.net. Arrangements by Morgan Funeral Home, Lewisburg, WV.
