Alice F. Vance

Alice F. Vance, 82, of White Sulphur Springs passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2015 at the White Sulphur Springs Center. Born August 16, 1933 at Glace she was the daughter of the late James Ernest and Rosella Hoke Morris. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis G. Vance. Alice is survived by three children, Wilma Hoke (Keith), Wayne Vance (Connie), and Tex Vance (Peggy) all of White Sulphur Springs; grandchildren, Randel Hoke (Jennifer) of White Sulphur Springs, Travis Vance of Richmond, VA, Brian Groves (Melissa) of North Carolina, and Jenny Ridgeway (Michael) of Sinks Grove; eight great grandchildren; sisters, Loretta Profetta of North Carolina, Nellie Carter of Lewisburg, Vernie Alexander and Rita Pilkenton both of White Sulphur Springs. A graveside service will be held 11:00AM Thursday Oct. 1, 2015 in Greenbrier Memorial Gardens at Lewisburg with Pastors Randy Gilliam and Lewis Brooks officiating.
