Allyne Faye Owens

Allyne McMillion Owens, 84, of Williamsburg passed away Thursday October 13, 2011 at the Brier Rehab Center in Ronceverte. Born May 5, 1927 at Williamsburg she was the daughter of the late Kenna Rachael Jackson McMillon. Allyne was valedictorian for the 1946 graduating class of Williamsburg. She was a member of the Andrew Chapel United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceeded in death by her husband, Delbert in 1990. Allyne is survived by her sons Doyle Owens and Bill Owens both of Williamsburg; two sisters-in-law, Stella Owens of Trout and Mildred McMillion of Waldorf, MD; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 2:30 pm Sunday, Oct. 16 at Morgan Funeral Home in Lewisburg with Pastors Denver Tiller and Emory Hanna officiating. Burial will follow in Wallace Memorial Cemetery at Clintonville. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 pm Saturday, Oct. 15 at the funeral home.
