Amanda Dawn Adkison, 35, of Ronceverte passed away on Thursday November 17, 2016 at the Charleston Area Medical Center-Memorial Division.Born May 26, 1981 at Low Moor, VA she was the daughter of Terri Morgan Patterson of Ronceverte and Steve Shockley of Ronceverte.Amanda was preceded in death by her brother, Justin Shockley in 2007 and paternal grandfather, F. B. Shockley.She is survived by her daughter, Hydie Adkison of Ronceverte; father, Steve Shockley of Ronceverte; mother, Terri Morgan Patterson of Ronceverte; brother, Travis Shockley of Ronceverte; half- sister, Tammy Dowdy of Lewisburg; paternal grandmother, Geneva Shockley of Lewisburg; maternal grandparents, Bonnie and Kermit Morgan of Ronceverte; and several uncles, aunts, and nieces.Services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday November 20, 2016 at the Bethel Pentecostal Holiness Church at Organ Cave with Rev. Wes Comer and Rev. Mark Shafer officiating. Burial will follow in the family cemetery at Ronceverte.Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church.
