Anita Judy

Anita June Judy, 54, of Asbury WV, died Tuesday, January 21st due to unexpected causes.
Anita was born September 30,1970 in Emporia, Virginia to Harry Lee "Bud" Judy and Sandra Kay Sheppard.

To Anita, her family and friends were her whole world and they meant everything to her. She loved them all unconditionally and she was always there for anyone if she could be. She was never afraid to speak her mind and always stood up for what she believed. Even though she was never able to have kids of her own, she loved and treated all her nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and so many other kids just like her own.

Anita is survived by her mother Sandra Sheppard; brother Avie Byer and wife Sherry; sister Angela Thomas; nieces, Brittany Shaffer and husband Nathan, Lilly Judy and fiancé Gavin, and Spencer Thomas; nephews Josh Quick, Jacob Spencer, Dylan Byer and wife Lindsey, Steve Judy, and Nick Judy and partner Madi; great nieces Calleigh Rudd and Riyah Thomas; great nephews Kaeson Kisner and Emmett Shaffer; uncle Randy Judy and wife Sherry; also three very special kids that meant the world to her, Everleigh McCoy, Henry Sizemore, and James Howell.

Anita is preceded in death by her father, Harry Lee "Bud" Judy; younger brother Charles "Boo" Judy; grandparents Charles and Mamie Sheppard and Harry and June Judy; uncles Roger Sheppard and William "Pete" Sheppard; aunts Marion Bowden, Nell Underwood, Helen McCormack, and Jeanie Gum; as well as cousins and friends.

It was Anita's wishes to be cremated so there will not be a funeral, but a memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations of sympathy be sent in to Morgan Funeral Home.
