Anna Marie Vaughan, 85, of Lewisburg, devoted mother and grandmother, went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 23, 2015 at the White Sulphur Springs Family Care Center. Born January 29, 1930 at Caldwell she was the daughter of the late Sylvester and Naomi Bennett Adwell. And preceding her in death other than her parents was her husband, Wilmer Vaughan; sisters, Lena Adwell and Mary Wingler; brothers, Charlie, Willard, Lawrence, Lonnie, Elmer, and Joe. Mrs. Vaughan worked at Greenbrier Military School and Greenbrier College and after their closure she was self-employed as a caregiver. Survivors include her sister, Ruth Armentrout of Hot Springs, VA; two daughters, Carol (Donnie) Perdue and Linda (Nicky) O'Brien; grandchildren, Sherri (Billy) Workman, Phillip (Linda) Boggs, and Shannon (Richard) Kirk; great-grandchildren, Zoe (Tyler) Erdman, Tristan, Joshua and Elisabeth Kirk, and Lauren and Nathaniel Workman. Services will be 2:00 PM Friday, March 27, 2015 at Morgan Funeral Home in Lewisburg with Pastors John and Tammy Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Rosewood Cemetery at Lewisburg. Visitation will be from 12:00 Noon until time of the service at the funeral home.
