Asel Dumire Williams

ASBURY, WV – Asel Dumire Williams, 90 of Asbury, WV passed away Saturday, September 7, 2024, at the Seneca Trail Healthcare Center. Born July 17, 1934, in Williamsburg, WV he was the son of the late James Wallace and Carrie Ethel Snedegar Williams.  Asel was a truck driver by trade and liked hunting and fishing.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Violet Williams and sister, Sharon Hilman.

Survivors include his wife, Judith Echols Williams, son, Ashby Williams (Mary Sue), daughter, Tamara Reid (Oliver), brother, Muriel Williams, grandchildren, Danielle Thieret (Elijah) and Angie Michael, great grandchildren, Ryder Thieret, Korbin, Bethany, Isaac and Kalah Campbell and Riley Beachy.

Graveside service will be 1:00 PM, Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at the Rosewood Cemetery, Lewisburg, WV. There will be no visitation. Online guestbook can be signed at www.morganfh.net. Arrangements by Morgan Funeral Home, Lewisburg, WV.
