Ashby E. Williams

Ashby E. Williams, Sr. 84, of Caldwell passed away Monday, September 21, 2015. Born August 3, 1931 at Caldwell, he was the son of the late Clyde Ashby and Lillian Rose Honaker Williams. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Marcia Jo; grandson, Chris McFall, sister, Virginia Hull and brother, Carol Phillip Williams. He was retired plant operator for Anderson Paving and a US Army Veteran of the Korean War. Ashby is survived by his wife Opal; daughters, Karen "Suzie" Richardson (David) of Williamsburg, VA, Deborah Anders of Caldwell, Sandra Hall(Timmy) of Lewisburg, and Libby Morgan(Wayne) of Lewisburg; sons, Ashby Williams Jr. of Caldwell and Keith Williams(Natoma) of Lewisburg; grandchildren, Kevin "Enoch" Williams, Kendra Marie Smith, Kimberly "Sunshine" Weese, Crystal Gale Crump, and Keith Williams Jr.; great grandchildren, Kaylan, Tristian, Caleb, Mariah, Jeremy Lee, Jacob and Justin; and sister, Wanda Loudermilk of Caldwell. Services will be 1:00 PM Friday, September 25, 2015 at Morgan Funeral Home in Lewisburg with Rev. Cleveland Harrison officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at Greenbrier Memorial Gardens in Lewisburg.
