Asil Grey Ingram

WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, WV – Asil Grey Ingram, 79 of White Sulphur Springs, WV passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at Select Specialty Hospital, Charleston, WV.  Born April 3, 1940 at Anthony, WV he was the son of the late Bun and Lorena Cummings Ingram.  Asil was retired from C & O/ CSX after thirty-two years of service as an Engineer.  He was a member of the Lewisburg Baptist Church and was a U.S. Army Veteran.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his loving wife of forty-three years, Lela Blake Ingram, a stepson, Rocky Mankins, brothers, Allen, Gerald, Maynard and Leonard Ingram and a sister Theda Mae Ingram.  Survivors include son, Asil James Ingram of White Sulphur Springs, WV, step son, Shane Mankins (Min Lu) of Spartanburg, SC, brothers, Basil Ingram (Patti) of Clifton Forge, VA and Avis Ingram (Gerry) of St. Augustine, FL, grandchildren, Anneka Ingram, Juliana Ingram and April Mankins, great grandchildren, Mark, Daniel and Joe Joe, several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 1:00 PM, Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel – 252 Montvue Drive, Lewisburg, WV with Pastor Jonathan Comer officiating.  Burial with Military Rites will follow in the Rosewood Cemetery, Lewisburg, WV.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service, Tuesday at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, donations of sympathy should be made to the Lewisburg Baptist Church – Building Fund – 246 Grand Avenue, Lewisburg, WV 24901.   Online guestbook can be signed at www.morganfh.net.  Arrangements by Morgan Funeral Home, Lewisburg, WV.
