Avery did construction and farm work most of his life but his greatest work was with the Williamsburg Volunteer Rescue Squad and Fire Department where he volunteered for over twenty years. He never considered it work. It was a labor of love. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Monday at his home with long time friend, Paul Brown officiating. Burial will follow in our family cemetery with members of the Williamsburg Rescue Squad serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM-8:00 PM on Sunday at their home.
