Barbara Lindsey, 80, of Lewisburg passed away Saturday, November 21, 2015 at Peyton Hospice House in Fairlea. Born September 7, 1935 at Ronceverte, she was the daughter of the late Carl Rodger and Madeline Zell Morgan and was also preceded in death by her sister, Joanna Seldomridge and brothers, Kent Morgan and Elwood Morgan. Barbara was a member of Ronceverte Baptist Church where she had served as a Sunday School Teacher. She had also been a Cub Scout Leader and was a retired Telephone Operator. She is survived by her husband, Albert W. Lindsey; children, David Lindsey and his wife, Debbie of Lewisburg, Gregory Lindsey of Ronceverte and Beth Richmond and her husband, Jeff of Alderson; grandchildren, Ryan Lindsey, Megan Lindsey, Lauren Lindsey, Laken Suttle and husband, Derrick, Jonathan Hatfield and wife, Katie and Dylan Hatfield; five great grandchildren; brother, Oscar Morgan of Ronceverte and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, November 24 at the Ronceverte Baptist Church in Ronceverte with Pastor Andy Howdock and Pastor Gary Baker officiating. Entombment will follow at Greenbrier Memorial Gardens Mausoleum in Lewisburg.
