LEWISBURG, WV – Becky Louise Tallman, 60, of Lewisburg, WV passed away, Friday, September 28, 2018 at the Peyton Hospice House, Lewisburg, WV. Born April 3, 1958 at Buckhannon, WV she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Shirley Nitz Tallman. Becky was a Registered Nurse at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center for many years. She loved her work and patients. Becky graduated from West Virginia Tech in 1978 with her nursing degree. She was a member of the Lewisburg United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by an infant sister, Pamela Sue Tallman. She leaves behind a sister, Melody Sheppard (John) of Salem, VA and brother, Kenny Tallman (Millie) of Muddy Creek Mountain, nephew, Keith Sheppard (Ashley) great niece and nephew, Kelsey and Mason Sheppard, her best friend and caregiver, Bertha Weikle and last of all her beloved pet Yorkie, Sophie.
Funeral service will be 3:00 PM Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel, 252 Montvue Drive, Lewisburg, WV with Pastor Tim Halloran officiating. Burial will follow in the Rosewood Cemetery, Lewisburg, WV. Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Monday, October 1, 2018 at the funeral home.
