Betty Lou Byers

FRANKFORD, WV - Betty Lou Byers, age 92, went home to be with the Lord on the morning of February 5th, 2024.

Born on December 8, 1931, at Frankford. She was the daughter of the late Rupert and Annie Byers.

She attended the Henning Church of God in Frankford where she was active in many of the activities of the church. She was a bookkeeper for the Federated Store in Lewisburg, as well as many other businesses.  She left this world as peaceful as the life she had lived, and although her footprint on this world was faint, the one she left in the hearts of her loved ones will go on with them forever. There wasn’t a more humble, meek, and kind soul than Betty Lou.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Robert Byers, and Jerry Byers, a niece Cynthia Byers, and a nephew Cole Carter. Survivors include a sister-n-law Wanda Byers of Carol Hill; Nephews Gregory Byers of Frankford, Brent Byers of Muddy Creek Mtn, and Brian Byers (Sandy) of Muddy Creek Mtn; Nieces Beverly and Roberta Byers of Sullivan Missouri, Renee Carter (Chris) of Summerville, SC; Four great nieces, three great nephews, two step-nieces, and three step-nephews.

According to her wishes, there will be no visitation. Graveside service will be held at the Henning Church of God Cemetery (Vago Road) on Wednesday, February 7th at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Robert Hefner, Jr. officiating.
