Betty Jo "Granny" Myles

Betty Jo "Granny" Myles, 83, of Renick died Tuesday, January 14, 2014. She was born April 30, 1930 on Droop Mountain and was preceded in death by her parents, Hugh and Edith Wiley; daughter, Peggy Whitt; brothers Bub and Eddie Wiley and sisters, Bunt and Ginny Wiley. She is survived by her husband, Lewis Myles; sons, Sherman Myles and Marsha, Alan Myles and Stephanie; Mike Myles and Donna, all of Renick; favorite son-in-law, Duane Whitt of Frankford; grandchildren Seth "Seth-man" Myles, Sean "Jethro" Myles, Keith Clegon, Todd Clegon, Steven Clegon, Jeremy Whitt and Hope Whitt; five great grandchildren; sister, Mary Wingler of Droop Mountain and several nieces and nephews. Services will be 2:00 PM Saturday January 18 at Morgan Funeral Home in Lewisburg with Rev. Jim Anderson and Rev. Lynn Randolph officiating. Burial will follow in the Morningside Cemetery at Renick. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM Friday at Morgan Funeral Home. Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
