Betty Z. Stanton

Betty Z. Stanton, 84, of Ronceverte, formerly of San Diego, CA, passed away on Friday November 25, 2016 at the White Sulphur Springs Care Center after a long illness.Born February 3, 1933 in Pineville Betty was the daughter of the late Edgar Farley and Hazel Vance Farley Taylor. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard J. Stanton; stepfather, Andy Taylor, four sisters, Anata Farley, Atalene Farley, Vinnie Marie Taylor, and Nannie June McComas; and five brothers, Guy P. Farley, Edward J. Farley, Henry R. Farley and two at birth.Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Teddy R. Farley Sr. and wife, Louise of Lewisburg; three grandchildren, Trina Terry, Teddy R. (T.J.) Farley Jr. of Lewisburg, and Robert Mann (Crystal) of Hurdle Mills, NC; four great grandchildren, Amber Mann, Cheyenne Mann, Dyllan Mann, and Braden Mann all of Hurdle Mills, NC.Bettys wishes were to be cremated and her cremains to be buried with her family at the H.R. Farley Family Cemetery at Pineville. A private service will be held at a later date.A special" thank you" to all who helped with Betty in her last years.
