Beverly Ellen Terry

Beverly Ellen Terry, 73, was eternally healed and went home to worship her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, forever on September 28, 2026, following a short illness. She passed peacefully while surrounded by her family at CAMC Memorial Hospital.

Born July 2, 1953, in Greenbrier County, Beverly was the daughter of the late Glen and Velma Walton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by the love of her life, Larry Terry, whom she had longed to see and be with again for the past five years.

Beverly was a lifelong resident of Greenbrier County and spent her entire life living on the same street. She held many jobs throughout her life, but if you asked her which one she held closest to her heart, she would tell you about her years as a receptionist at Nunley Family Dentistry in White Sulphur Springs. Her time there allowed her to do what she loved most—interacting with and talking to people.

There was never a stranger when Beverly was around. She could strike up a conversation with anyone, at any time, and make them feel like an old friend.

Beverly carried that same gift for connecting with others into her church family. She attended Ronceverte Baptist Church for many years and was also a member of Greenbrier Baptist Church, where she proudly supported her son, Pastor Craig Terry.

Her final wishes were simple: to go home and be with her Lord and Savior, to be in His presence, and to be reunited with her beloved husband, Larry, and all those who had gone before her for the rest of eternity.

Left to cherish the memories and the tremendous impact she made on their lives are her children: Melanie O’Brien and husband Michael, Lori Boggs and husband Heath, Craig Terry and wife Ashley. She will be forever missed by those who lovingly knew her as “Gran”: Zachary Boggs and wife Kayla, Michaela Norman and husband Tanner, Connor O’Brien, Hannah Boggs, Braden Terry, Alayna Terry, Ella Johnson, Great-grandson, Berkley Norman, Great-granddaughter, Mia Norman.

She is also survived by a special aunt and cousin who were more like sisters to her, Rita Campbell, and Deb Scudiere and husband Bill; as well as a special cousin whom she loved as her own, Beth Black and husband Eddie; along with several aunts, uncles, and cousins whom she loved dearly.

Beverly loved her family until the very end and cherished every moment she was blessed to spend with them. Whether it was Sunday dinners, beach trips, trips to Pigeon Forge, the Campbell reunion, or simply sitting together on her front porch, Beverly loved life and treasured every moment with her family.

Her love of taking pictures was another gift she gave to those she loved. Through the countless photographs she captured, her family will be able to look back, smile, and cherish the memories she helped create for years to come.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, October 1, 2026 at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel with her son, Pastor Craig Terry officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home, Thursday. Burial will follow the service in the Greenbrier Memorial Gardens, Lewisburg, WV.
