Bill Ingles

LEWISBURG, WV – William Joseph “Bill” Ingles went to be with Jesus at 10:10 AM, Monday, July 13, 2020 at his home. Born August 19, 1942 at Sinks Grove, WV he was the son of the late Dallas and Eva Erskine Ingles. Bill was a member of the Army Nation Guard for ten years. He was also a member of the Rhema Christian Center, the TAHOE Tractor Club, where he loved working on and driving tractors and the King Midget Car Club. Bill enjoyed playing softball. He was an Engineering Technician for the Department of Transportation for thirty-one years. He specialized in bridge construction and helped with building the New River Gorge Bridge. Survivors include his loving wife of fifty-one years, Sarah Hayes Ingles, children, Willanna Fisher, son, Kevin (Mary) Ingles, four grandchildren and one great grandchild. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at the Sinks Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Stewart Farley officiating.
