WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, WV - On Saturday December 31, 2016, at Carillion Roanoke Memorial Hospital, Blanche Blake Wickline 87, of White Sulphur Springs slipped peacefully from this world into the loving arms of her Savior. Blanche was born in Friars Hole, WV on April 6, 1929. The daughter of Mason and Georgia Blake, she grew up in Renick, WV and graduated from Renick High School. She moved to White Sulphur Springs where she worked at Burlington Mills, Hanover Shoe Factory and raised her five children. She loved to read, work puzzles, plant flowers and bird watch, but most of all she loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. Blanche is preceded in death by her parents, three sisters: Euva Allen, Francis Allen, and Bessie Copenhaver; her son Jerry Wickline and her Granddaughter Maria Wickline. Those left to cherish her memory are five siblings: Mary Wheeler, Helen Lewis, Mason Blake, Donald (Ruth) Blake, and Lonnie Blake; four daughters: Donna Blake, Doris Glover, Debbie (Jim) Craft, Kimberly (Emmett) Sullivan; Grandchildren: Anthony (Melinda) Glover, Gary (Lee) Glover, Leslie Wayne Windon, Christy Wickline, Christopher (Michelle) Defibaugh, Joshua Defibaugh, Jamie Craft and Nathan (Malary) Craft; Great Grandchildren: Jennifer (Sam) Fadare, Mason Glover, Robert Glover, Lillian Defibaugh; Great-Great Grandchildren: Gavin, Liam, JoElla and Tobias.Funeral service will be 11:00 AM, Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at the Morgan Funeral Home, Lewisburg, WV with Pastor Bennie Kenney officiating. Burial will follow in the Morningside Cemetery, Renick, WV. Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at the funeral home.
