Bonnie Adkins, 58, of Caldwell went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 23, 2015 at the Peyton Hospice House in Fairlea. Born September 21, 1956 at Ronceverte, she was the daughter of Lovetta Long Wooten of Ronceverte and the late Warren Wooten. Bonnie graduated from the Beckley Beauty Academy and also taught school there for two years. She operated Bonnie's Beauty Salon for twenty-one years and was a member of the Ronceverte Red Hat Society. Preceding her in death, other than her father, were two brothers, Kenny Weikle and Mickey Weikle; mother-in-law, Nina Adkins; sisters-in-law, Dreama Bragg and Nila Bledsoe and brothers-in-law Jack, Curtis and Virgil Adkins. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 42 years, Floyd Adkins; two sons, Eric Adkins and Jeanette of Ronceverte and Kenny Adkins and Jaclyn of Caldwell; grandchildren, Warren Adkins, Malachi Adkins, Keenan Adkins, Kennison Adkins, Miriam Adkins, Kenlea Adkins, Carter Elliott, and Justin Huffman; brothers, Bill (Kay) Weikle of Ronceverte, Gary (Sharon) Weikle of Ronceverte, Richard (Grace) Weikle of Fairlea, Donnie (Barbara) Weikle of Ronceverte, and her twin brother, Ronnie Weikle of Fairlea; aunts, Sue (Ronald) Bailey of Fairlea and Beulah Long of Peterstown; sisters-in-law, Irene Cooke of Crab Orchard, Linda Weikle and daughter, Jennie of Lewisburg, Mary Sue Obugene of Cranberry, Jewel (Jerry) Rawls of Stanaford, and Elizabeth (Ray) Navarro of Ohio; brothers-in-law, Ruben (Mary) Adkins, and Gary Bragg; special friends, Frank and Anna Defibaugh of Caldwell and Naomi Johnson of North Carolina; and a host of friends, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
