Brenda Martin

RENICK, WV – Brenda Lee Hefner Martin, 52 of Renick, WV went home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 30, 2018 at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center. Born July 25, 1966 at White Sulphur Springs, WV she was the daughter of the late Kyle and Grace Hefner. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Kathy Bretz. Brenda was a faithful member of the Holy Word Assembly of God Church in Fairlea. She enjoyed praising the lord, singing gospel music, working in her garden, fishing, spending time with her family and friends and playing with her grandchildren. Brenda was a well-respected Christian woman. She was very loving, caring, supportive and will be greatly missed. She is survived by her son, Joshua Dale Martin (Megan Lanea Martin) of Renick, grandchildren, Lillyahnna and Jozilyn Martin, sisters, Jennifer Snider of Pulaski, VA, Sharon Jones (David) of Lewisburg, WV, brother Rick Hefner of Kansas, six nephews, three nieces, several great nieces and nephews. Memorial service and celebration of Brenda’s life will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, December 8, 2018 at the Holy Word Assembly of God Church in Fairlea, WV with Pastor Brady Ellis officiating.
