Brenda Gail Spangler

LEWISBURG, WV – Brenda Gail Spangler, 72 of Lewisburg, WV passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, WV. Born October 20, 1947 in Union, WV she was the daughter of the late Joseph Tomlinson and Jeanette Dixon Canterbury. Brenda was a Dog Groomer and a member of the Union Presbyterian Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a nephew, Jordan Canterbury. Survivors include her loving husband of thirty-two years, Benny Ray Spangler, sons, Michael Shane McReynolds (Gina) of Sevier County, TN, step son, Clifford Ray Spangler (Jaime) of Mineral, VA, brothers, Joseph J. Tomlinson, (David Brown) of Pennsylvania, Mark Canterbury (Tracey) of Lindside, WV, grandchildren, Heather Caroline McReynolds, Darby and Brody Spangler, sisters in law, Evelyn Dunn, Agnes Caldwell, Anna Jean McCray, Eleanor Miller and Brenda Mann and brothers in law, Ralph and Jerry Spangler, special nephew, Shane Canterbury (Jessica) of Pigeon Forge, TN and her dog Otis. A private family service will be held later. In lieu of flowers, donations of sympathy can be made to Benny Spangler, 196 Hall Tree Lane, Lewisburg, WV 24901, to help offset final expenses.
