Bucilla Belle Hodges

Bucilla Belle Hodges, 86, of Ronceverte passed away on Thursday September 1, 2016 at the Brier Nursing and Rehab at Ronceverte. She was born December 20, 1929 to the late William Jennings Morgan and Viola Long Morgan. And in addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother, Zack Morgan and a sister, Nancy. She leaves behind one sister, Leta Judy (Charles) of Richmond, VA.; brothers, Steve Morgan (Linda) of Warner Robins, Georgia, and Issac Lowell (Toby) Morgan of Lewisburg.A lifelong resident of Ronceverte, she spent her life loving and caring for her family. She spent many years as a member of the First Church of God and the Ronceverte Volunteer Firemanettes.She is survived by her husband of sixty-eight years, Elbert B. "E.B." Hodges Jr. She is the mother of five children, Sharon Yvonne (deceased), Vicky Cooper (Pete) of Huntington, William B. "Bill" of Ronceverte, Rick (Diana) of Charleston, and Teresa Campbell (Dale) of Virginia Beach, VA; eight grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.Services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday September 4, 2016 at Morgan Funeral Home in Lewisburg with Pastor Richard Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Ketron Cemetery on Rockland Road, Ronceverte.Friends may call from 2:00 PM till time of the service at the funeral home on Sunday.
