Bucky Landis

RONCEVERTE, WV – Harold Eugene “Bucky” Landis Jr, known to most as “PawPaw”, 61, of Ronceverte, WV passed away, Friday, March 20, 2020 at CAMC – Memorial Hospital, Charleston, WV following an extended illness. Born December 2, 1958 at Marlinton, WV he was the son of the late Harold Eugene Landis Sr. and Betty Joan Piotrowski Landis. Bucky was of the Christian faith. He mostly worked as a mechanic and carpenter throughout his career. Bucky loved spending time with his family, camping and fishing. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Jerry Landis, sisters, Heather Sharp and Terry Piotrowski and his maternal grandmother, Charlotte Piotrowski. Survivors include his loving wife of twenty-seven years, Judy Bostic Landis, daughters, Misty Landis (Marcus Berry), Jamie Martin (Chris) and Jessica Miller (Justin) all of Ronceverte, WV, sister, Drema Moore (Jimmy) of Marlinton, WV, grandchildren, Christopher Landis, Sidney Martin, Whitney Pack, Ethan Martin, Natasha Pack, Johnathan Woolard, Shawn Martin, Autumn Miller, Eric Martin, Summer and Kaylee Berry, a great granddaughter on the way, Adalyn Landis, several nieces and nephews and his special K9 companion, Kimber. Visitation and Funeral service will be limited to immediate family. Graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, March 26, 2020 at the Sunset Cemetery, Ronceverte, WV.
