Calvin Estep

Calvin Forrest Estep, 75, of Asbury passed away Friday March 30, 2012 at his home following a long illness. Born January 5, 1937 in Greenbrier County, he was the son of the late Vernon Forrest and Judy Gertrude Jones Estep and was preceded in death by his son, Mark and a sister, Marie Harvey. Calvin spent four years in the US Air Force and was a member of West Point Baptist Church at Asbury. He retired from The Greenbrier where he spent many years as a baker. Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Dot Gillespie Estep; sons, Jeff Estep and Kelly of Schurz, NV and Howard Estep and Ginger of Asbury; daughter, Eloise Wallace and Bill of Clintonville; grandchildren, Zachary, Derek, Justin and Amber Estep, Emily and Erin Wallace, Binde Crutcher, Jesse Ponca and Jimmy Scott; one great grandchild, Logan; sisters, Elizabeth Keesling and Bill of Andersen, IN, Melba Dearduff and Jim of Bellville, IN, Aretha Grudger and Rob of Florence, SC and Bonnie Caldwell and Michael of Highpoint, NC; brothers, Pete Estep and Donna of Sinks Grove and Ivan Estep and Emily of Asbury and several nieces and nephews. Services will be 2:00 pm Monday, April 2, 2012 at Morgan Funeral Home in Lewisburg with Rev. Ron Miller and Rev. Gary Baker officiating. Burial will follow in Emmanuel Church Cemetery at Asbury. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 pm Sunday, April 1 at Morgan Funeral Home.
