Carolyn Mae Erskine

RONCEVERTE, WV – Carolyn Mae Erskine, 78 of Ronceverte, WV passed away October 7, 2024, at the Brian Center, Low Moor, VA following a short illness. Born April 18, 1946, in Second Creek, WV she was the daughter of the late Walter and Ruth Vance Elmore. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her soul mate, Jesse Erskine, brothers, Leroy Vance, James, Earl, Lewis, Oral, Dallas and Vernon Elmore, sisters, Betty Morrison, Bonnie Ridgeway, Mary Sue Poage, and Ruby McNeely.

Survivors include her daughter, Tammy Erskine and fiancé David Ridgeway, son, Jeff Erskine and wife Karen, grandchildren, Jessica Masina of White Sulphur Springs, WV, Brian Kelly and wife Kristen of Clarksburg, WV, Madison Erskine and wife Alyssa of Lewisburg, WV and Lindsey Kessinger and husband Kendall of Covington, VA, great grandchildren, Nevaeh, Rajon, Malik, Haley, Kollyns and Beckham, sisters, Nancy Morgan of Ronceverte, WV, Rose Bamsch and husband Michael of Lake Havasu City, AZ, brother, Thomas Elmore and wife Ellen of Second Creek, WV, her best friend and cousins, James and Phyllis Hoke and cousin Jamie Hoke, several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 11:00 AM, Friday, October 11, 2024, at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel – Lewisburg, WV. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Thursday, October 10, 2024.
