Catherine Louise "Cathy" Sears

LEWISBURG, WV - Catherine Louise "Cathy" Sears, 67, of Lewisburg, WV passed away Saturday, January 7, 2017 at the Meadow Garden Nursing Home, Rainelle, WV. Born January 5, 1950 at Lewisburg, WV she was the daughter of the late Raymond Overton and Elva Lou Lilly Woolard. Cathy was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Carol Slate and a brother, Frank Woolard. Survivors are her loving husband of 48 years, William Larry Sears, son Todd L. Sears and wife Susan of Clintonville, WV, daughter, Kimberly Eggleston and husband Kenneth of Union, WV, grandchildren, Kayla Taylor and husband Kevin of French Creek, WV, Cathy Eggleston, Nathan Sears and Lindsey Sears, great grandchildren, Hunter and Madison Taylor and David and Zackery Bennett, good friend, Chester Loudermilk of Clintonville, WV, her dog, Tiny, several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 1:00 PM, Monday, January 9, 2017 at the Morgan Funeral Home, Lewisburg, WV with Rev. Otis Cales officiating. Burial will follow in the Roach Cemetery, Muddy Creek Mountain, Lewisburg, WV. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service, Monday at the funeral home.
