RONCEVERTE, WV - Charles Melvin Miller, 82, of Ronceverte, WV passed away, Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at the Peyton Hospice House, Lewisburg, WV. Born April 9, 1934 he was the son of the late Charles Howard and Lula Gay Burnette Miller. Mr. Miller was a member of the Greystone Baptist Church and was a U.S. Marine Corp Veteran. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Ronald Lynn Miller and a sister, Phyllis Hurt. Survivors include his loving wife of 61 years, Lavon Godby Miller, sons, Donald Ray Miller of Wardensville, WV, Charles "Eddie" Miller and wife Sherri of Renick, WV, Kenneth Gregory Miller of Frankford, WV, daughter, Susan Bagford and husband Michael Vasapoli of Fairfax, VA, grandchildren, Christi Bagford, C.J. (Jennifer) Miller, Kathy Bagford, Jack Gordon Miller and Reese Henry Miller, great granddaughter, Maggie Miller and a sister, Carol Sue Wood and husband Dolphis of Lewisburg, WV.Funeral service will be 2:00 PM, Friday, December 23, 2016 at the Morgan Funeral Home, Lewisburg, WV with Pastor Youel Altizer officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenbrier Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 12:00 Noon until time of the service, Friday at the funeral home.
