Charlie Estil Simms

WILLIAMSBURG, WV – Charlie Estil Simms, 77 of Williamsburg, WV passed away Thursday, October 10, 2024, at the Peyton Hospice House. Born November 29, 1946, in Clintonville, WV he was the son of the late Howard Cornel Simms and Laura Ellen Hinkle Simms. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Susan Boehringer and Hazel Warren, three half-brothers, David, Harold and Howard.

Survivors include a nephew, Randy Osborne (Melody) and their daughter, Elizabeth, nieces, Angela Eanes and Nikki Spencer, great nieces, Winter Lowe (Derek) and Lyla Spencer, great nephews, Exavier and Kingston Boone, friends and caretakers, Paul Cochran and Ellen Kellison and her children, Carrie Jackson (Mark) and Shelly Mabe, friends he considered as grandchildren, Makayla and Rebecca Jackson and Timothy Hutton and a friend he considered as a nephew, Robert “Boogie” Canfield (Kam).

Funeral service will be 12:00 Noon, Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel, Lewisburg, WV with Pastor Stewart Farley officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home Wednesday. Burial will follow the service in the Wallace Memorial Cemetery, Clintonville, WV.
