RONCEVERTE, WV – Christine Elizabeth Masters Bostic, 87, of Ronceverte, WV passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at the Peyton Hospice House, Lewisburg, WV. Born December 26, 1931 at Caldwell, WV she was the daughter of the late Ottie Lawrence and Lorene Edith Howard Masters. Chris attended the White Sulphur High School and was retired from the Union Company in Columbus, OH. She was owner and operator of the Ray & Chris Country Stores in Ronceverte, WV and Caldwell, WV. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband of sixty-five years, Calvin Ray Bostic, three brothers, Gilbert, Lawrence and Kenneth Masters, a special niece, Jeanie Masters and her parents in law, Arthur and Villa Bostic. She is survived by a brother, Merle (Martha) Masters of Oakland, Maryland, special sister in law, Mary Ellen Masters and special nephews, Andy Masters and Greg (Heather) Masters, who were always there to answer her calls for help. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews whom she loved very much. Family meant a lot to her. Funeral service will be 1:00 PM, Saturday, February 16, 2019 at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel – 252 Montvue Drive, Lewisburg, WV with Pastor Cleve Harrison officiating. Burial will follow in the Rosewood Cemetery, Lewisburg, WV. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until time of the service, Saturday at the funeral home.
