Clara Blake, 99, of Ronceverte went home to be with her Lord on Friday, February 5, 2016 at Greenbrier Manor in Fairlea. Born June 23, 1916 at Spring Creek, she was the daughter of the late Lone and Nannie Roberts. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Layton; a son, Murrel and wife, Nyettia; daughter-in-law, Mary Blake; grandson, Roger Jr.; three brothers and one sister. Clara was a member of the Lewisburg Baptist Church; and was a wonderful mother who loved her family dearly. Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Lela Ingram and husband, Asil of White Sulphur Springs; two sons, Roger of Ronceverte, and Denver and wife, Pattie of Maxwelton; eight grandchildren; and fourteen great grandchildren. Services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday February 8, 2016 at Morgan Funeral Home in Lewisburg with Pastor Jonathan Comer officiating. Burial will follow in the Rosewood Cemetery at Lewisburg. Friends may call from 1:00PM until time of the service on Monday at the funeral home.
