Clennie Alston Mccoy

Clennie Alston McCoy, 88, of Lewisburg passed away Saturday, December 5, 2015 at his residence. Born February 14, 1927 at Esty, he was the son of the late Jesse and Rebecca Snedegar McCoy and in addition to his parents was preceded in death by his wife Dollie McCormick McCoy and son, Ronnie Jack McCoy. Clennie was retired from WV Department of Highways and attended the Caldwell Pentecostal Holiness Church. He is survived by his children, Bobby Ray McCoy, Sr. of NC, Betty McCoy and Sue Colon of VA, and Wayne McCoy of NC; brothers, Leslie McCoy of Shepherdstown and Chester McCoy of Frankford, sisters, Helen Miles and Myrtle Faulkner of Frankford; seven grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Services will 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at Morgan Funeral Home in Lewisburg with Pastor Ronnie Saville officiating. Burial will follow in Ellis Chapel Cemetery near Renick. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM Monday, December 7 at Morgan Funeral Home in Lewisburg.
