RENICK, WV – Connie Charlene Simmons, 58 of Renick, WV passed away following a sudden illness, Sunday, November 25, 2018 at Charleston Area Medical Center – Memorial. Born May 9, 1960 in Marlinton, WV she was the daughter of the late Warner Sheldon Clark and Bonnie Louise Clutter Clark Mullins. She was a member of the Spring Creek Presbyterian Church where she served as Elder. Connie was a longtime employee of Greenbrier Valley Medical Center where she was an Operating Room Technician. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by an infant sister, Linda Clark. Survivors include her loving husband of thirty-one years, John Thomas Simmons, son, Sheldon McKendree Simmons of Renick, WV, brother, Alston W. Clark (Carolyn) of Red Lion, PA, nephew, Michael W. Clark and great niece, Kylee S. Clark both of York, PA, uncle Kenneth Clutter (Ruth) of Windsor, PA and aunt, Mary Clutter of Marlinton, WV.

Funeral service will be 12:00 Noon, Saturday, December 1, 2018 at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel – 252 Montvue Drive, Lewisburg, WV with Pastor Lynn Randolph officiating. Burial will follow in the Morningside Cemetery, Renick, WV. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until time of the service, Saturday at the funeral home.
