Coy Michael Archer Sr.

TALCOTT, WV – Coy Michael Archer Sr, 66, of Talcott, WV formerly of Fort Spring, WV passed away Monday, November 27, 2017 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born November 17, 1951 in Kentucky, he was the son of the late Juanita and Robert Ridgeway. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Johnny Archer. Coy was a Veteran of the U.S. Army. He worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator most of his life and was also an Auctioneer with Archers Auctioneering and Bradley’s Auctioneering and Real Estate. He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Peggy Terry Archer, son, Coy Michael Archer Jr. and wife Amy of Martinsburg, WV, daughters, Michelle Archer of Alderson, WV and Elizabeth Archer and fiancé, Bobby Wilson of Talcott, father, Dallas Shackleford of Kentucky, grandchildren, Austin Whitt, Kaleb Archer and fiancé, Brittany Richmond, Kenzie Whitt, Kanyon Archer, Kynleigh Archer, Abigail Wilson and Bodie Archer, several special friends and extended family. Funeral service will be 11:00 AM, Friday, December 1, 2017 at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel – 252 Montvue Drive, Lewisburg, WV with Pastor Joey Morgan officiating. Burial will follow in the Ketron Cemetery, Rockland Road, Ronceverte, WV. Visitation will be 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Thursday, November 30, 2017 at the funeral home.
