Dale Rutherford

LEWISBURG, WV – Ronald Dale Rutherford, 68, of Lewisburg, WV passed away Friday, May 11, 2018 at the Peyton Hospice House, Lewisburg, WV.  Born May 2, 1950 at Lewisburg, WV he was the son of the late Rodney and Dorothy Lilly Rutherford.  Dale was a U.S. Army Veteran, serving two tours in Vietnam.  He is survived by his loving wife, Sandra L. Moses Rutherford, step son, Justin Moody and wife Stephanie of Beckley, WV, step daughter, Beth Caples and husband Doug of Lewisburg, WV, grandchildren, Amber, Alex and Andrew and great grandchildren, Ryan, Jonathan, Anna and Daniel, brothers, Gary Rutherford and wife Debbie of White Sulphur Springs, WV and Doug Rutherford and wife Melissa of Lewisburg, WV, sisters, Karen Bonnett and husband Homer of Daniels, WV and Audrey Mowry of Pennsylvania, several nieces and nephews. It was Dale’s wish to be cremated.  A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday, May 19, 2018 at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel – 252 Montvue Drive, Lewisburg, WV.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Peyton Hospice House – 1265 Maplewood Avenue, Lewisburg, WV 24901.  Online guestbook can be signed, or condolences may be sent to the family at www.morganfh.net.  Arrangements by Morgan Funeral Home, Lewisburg, WV.
