Danny Clyde Windon

Danny Clyde Windon, 60, of Ronceverte WV, simply fell asleep and awoke with Jesus on Sunday, November 8, 2015 after a prolonged illness. Danny was born February 25, 1955 to the late Clyde Eugene & Norma Lea Windon. He was also preceded in death by his grandparents (maternal) Julian & Janie Holliday and (paternal) Charles & Grace Windon along with his brother In-law Jr. Martin. Danny was a one-of-a-kind person, a husband, father, friend, jack of all trades, comedian, avid marksman and hunter. He loved the Lord, his family & friends and he never met a stranger! Survivors include his wife Jessy Windon and their two children Gracie & Dannon and older children, Melissa Windon (Tom) of Hamilton, AL, Jenny Kaeb (Domenic) of Danvers, IL, Mary Beth Tucker (Ben) and Daniel Windon (Sara) of Ronceverte. Siblings include Linda Bostic (Eddie) of Organ Cave, Billy Windon (Karen) of Ronceverte, Sharon Windon of Williamsburg, Jeanne Anderson (Eddie) of Roanoke, VA, Brad Windon (Brenda) of Fort Mill, SC. Grandchildren include: Mariah Boynton (David), Sierra Windon; Levi, Cassady, Gabrielle & Anna Kaeb; Kryslen, Josiah & Trenton Tucker; Tristan Yopp, Dylan & Sophia Windon & two great grandchilden Jace Kaeb & Dekklen Boynton(unborn). Mother & Father In-law: James & Nora Martin of Hinton,WV. Special Aunts Nancy Hill & Carol Gillispie and a multitude of neices and nephews. Services will be held at Morgan Funeral Home in Lewisburg, WV with visitation on Thurs.
