Danny Ray Rood

FRANKFORD, WV – Danny Ray Rood Sr., age 74 of Frankford, WV passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center. Born July 19, 1947, in Russellville, AR he was the son of the late John Franklin and Bertha Ella Hoppis Rood. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Katherine Rood, daughters, Katherine Melissa Rood and Mary Ellen Rood and a sister, Edna Ruth Cosper.

Survivors include his son, Danny Ray Rood Jr. (Leslie) of Frankford, WV, grandchildren, Jimmy Don Rood (Brandy) of Lewisburg, WV, Ellie May Rood (Ekadasi) of Frankford, WV, Kristin Smith of Oregon, and Joshua Mancini of North Carolina, three great grandchildren, brothers, Larry Rood, and Johnnie Rood (Karen) all of California, Bobby Rood of Missouri and a sister, Helen Tenpenny of California.
