Darrell Walker Hall

Darrell Walker Hall went to be with the Lord on January 9, 2016 at his home after a courageous battle with cancer. Darrell was born on October 15, 1937 at Gap Mills. He is the son of the late John Walker Hall and Catherine Howard Hall. He was a member and trustee of Liberty Missionary Baptist Church. He served in the U.S. Air Force, was a timberman, and a skilled carpenter. Preceding him in death, other than his parents, was his daughter Tammy Jane, his brothers Lonnie, Bobby, and David; his sisters, Isabella, Gertie, Rebecca, Loretta, and Brenda Hall. Also grandchildren Tabitha, Michael, and Jeremy. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of36 years, Kathleen of Ronceverte, children Teresa Byers and Gary of Lindside, Tina Matson and Joe of Lewisburg, Tim Hall and Sandra of Lewisburg, Tommy Hall of Alderson, Jason Hall and Nicole of Ronceverte, his sisters Violet Honaker of Lewisburg and Polly Brammer of Ronceverte, brother Gerald Hall and Mary of Ronceverte, 13 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 4 great, great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews, and his beloved cat Annie. Visitation will be held at Rhema Christian Center on January 12, 2016 from 12:00-2:00pm. Services will be at 2:00pm. Burial will follow at the Adwell Cemetery. Pastors Donnie Weikle and Mike Honaker will be officiating and nephews will be pallbearers. Food can be delivered to Rhema Christian Center from 12:00pm-2:00pm.
