Darrell James Sturgell

Darrell James Sturgell, 73, passed away Sunday May 8th in Woodbridge VA after a long illness. Darrell owned and operated the Dumfries Collision Center for many years.Born April 20, 1943 in Frankford WV he was the son of the late Bennie and Ethel Sturgell.In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by sisters, Irene Dotson and Donna Bell Walker; brothers, Junior Sturgell, Gerald Sturgell, Cecil Sturgell, and Carlton Sturgell.He is survived by his daughters Tammy Roberts and Rhonda Sturgell both of Woodbridge VA, granddaughters Krystal Vazquez husband Jorge of Jacksonville NC, Avery Byrd, Ariana Carrington, and Teembra Johnson of Woodbridge, a grandson Josh James of Woodbridge and a great grandson Charlie Bolanos of Jacksonville NC Brothers Cutis Sturgell of Tampa FL, Herman Sturgell wife Louise of Ronceverte, sisters Lucille Blankenship of NC, Marie Hilderbrand of Richmond, VA, Betty Boyd of Richmond, VA and Cathy Sturgell of Fairmont WV. As well as a long list of nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews who loved him dearly.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday May 14, 2016 at Morgan Funeral Home in Lewisburg. Burial will follow in Greenbrier Memorial Gardens at Lewisburg.Visitation will be 7:00-9:00PM on Friday May 13, 2016 at the funeral home.
