Darrell James West

RONCEVERTE, WV - Darrell James West, 72 of Ronceverte, WV passed away Thursday, October 31, 2024, at the Lewisburg Healthcare Center.  Born March 9, 1952, in Union, WV, he was the son of the late Forrest L. and Betty Underwood West. Darrell was a member of the Ronceverte Baptist Church and the Ronceverte Fire Department.  He was a veteran of the US Army National Guard.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Steve and Robert West.

Survivors include a brother David West (Key) and their children, Vaness and Elliott; sisters, Karen West and Dreama West; special niece, Michelle Jones (Steve) and their children Karys and Kellen, who was known as his favorite, and nephews B.J. West and Chance West.

Memorial service will be 1:00 PM, Monday, November 4, 2024, at the Ronceverte Baptist Church with Pastor Andy Howdock officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.  The family would like to thank the staff at the Lewisburg Healthcare Center for the wonderful care provided to Darrell during his residency there.   In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Christmas Fund at the Lewisburg Healthcare Center – 979 Rocky Hill Road, Ronceverte, WV 24970.  Online guestbook can be signed at www.morganfh.net.
