Darrius Xavier Morgan

RONCEVERTE, WV – Darrius “Yogi Bear” Xavier Morgan, 6, of Ronceverte, WV passed away in a tragic accident, Thursday, July 6, 2017. Born February 27, 2011 in Ronceverte, WV he was the son of Brandon Michael Morgan and Nicole Lynn Blankenship both of Ronceverte, WV. Darrius was a giving, kind, gentle, sweet and loving boy who loved school. He was very creative, and loved playing with his Legos. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.  He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Katherine Loraine Morgan, paternal great grandparents, Dallas and Sandra Morgan and maternal great grandmother, Sylvia Byrd. Including his parents, he is survived by his brother, Kayden Ace Blankenship of the home, maternal grandparents, Don and Valerie Gunter of Asbury, WV and uncles, Joshua Moody of Second Creek, WV, Victor Williams and wife Jessica of Cornstalk, WV, Jared Gunter and wife Jennie of Gap Mills, WV and Jason Overstreet of Ronceverte, WV, numerous other family and several friends. Funeral Service will be 2:00 pm, Friday, July 14, 2017 at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel, 252 Montvue Drive, Lewisburg, WV with Pastor Jesse Pope officiating. Burial will follow in the Morgan Cemetery, Ronceverte, WV. Visitation will be from 12:00 Noon until time of the service, Friday at the funeral home.
