David Oney

David Oney, 88, of Frankford passed away Monday December 17, 2012 at his home. Born June 26, 1924 at Hominy Falls he was the son of the late Edward and Betty Patterson Oney. Other than his parents David was preceded in death by a son, David Oney and a grandson, Gatlin Evan Jones. Survivors are his wife, Betty Oney; daughters, Elizabeth Oney and Barbara Jones both of Frankford; son, Steve Oney, Lawrence Oney, and James Oney; brothers, Lawrence Oney of Pennsylvania and Clarence Oney of Maryland; fourteen grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday Dec. 21, 2012 at Morgan Funeral Home in Lewisburg with Rev. Lula Collins officiating. Burial will follow in the Oney Family Cemetery at Frankford.
