Della was a woman remembered for her warm and caring spirit.

Della Marie Coleman, born Della Marie Burdette, passed away on October 28, 2026, at the White Sulphur Springs Center in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia, at the age of 75.

Born on November 14, 1950, in Mullens, West Virginia, Della was a woman remembered for her warm and caring spirit. She worked as a nurses assistant for most of her life, giving her time and energy in service to others. Her kindness was evident not only in her work, but in the way she lived each day. She was known as a friendly and kindhearted person, and she especially loved baking for family and friends during the holidays, creating memories and traditions that will be treasured by those who knew her.

Her faith was central to her life. Della was a Christian who loved her Lord, and that devotion was among the things of which she was most proud. Her life reflected a quiet strength, a generous heart, and a deep love for the people around her.

Della will be lovingly remembered by her children, Felicia Coleman, Jimmy Coleman, and Missy Coleman. She is also survived by her brother, Roger Burdette, and his wife, Maryann; her sister, Jewel Pinson, and her husband, Denver four grandchildren and six great grandchildren. They, along with many others whose lives were touched by her warmth and goodness, will carry her memory forward with love.

She especially loved baking for family and friends during the holidays, creating memories and traditions that will be treasured by those who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her father, James Burdette; her mother, Dempsey Burdette; and her sister, Alice Armstrong.

Della leaves behind a legacy of faith, kindness, and loving care for others. May her memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved her.
