Della Mae (Underwood/Tyree) Fleury passed away 28 February 2023 on her 87th birthday at the Pocahontas Nursing Center.  Della was born in Beaver Creek, WV. and resided in the states of Virginia, Maryland, and Colorado before returning to her home of WV.  Della’s loves were spending time with her family and friends and her precious pugs named ET, Daisy and Spike.  She also loved hummingbirds, as they reminded her of her birth home, Huntersville, WV and her mother.

Della was preceded in death by her parents Denver and Dollie Underwood, four sisters and four brothers.  She is survived by her son, James Tyree, daughter, Dollie Diane Hawk, three sisters, one brother, four grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren.   At her request, there will be no services.
