Delores Flanagan

LEWISBURG, WV – Mary Delores Flanagan, 81 of Lewisburg, WV passed away Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center.  Born March 12, 1940 in Organ Cave, WV she was the daughter of the late Paul and Blanche Curry Shafer.  Delores retired from Greenbrier County Schools and was a member of the Zions Light Baptist Church.  She loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of fifty-two years, Gene Flanagan.  Survivors include one daughter, Tammy White (Terry) of Lewisburg, WV, brother, Eddie Shafer (Joan) of Ronceverte, WV, grandchildren, Trent White (Sara Hylton-White) and Troy White (Terri) of Caldwell, WV, great grandchildren, Sophia Shirley, Abigail White, Samuel Shirley, Lane White and Teagan White, several cousins and extended family.

Funeral service will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, March 20, 2021 at the Zions Light Baptist Church, Horseshoe Bend Road, Ronceverte, WV with Pastor Gary Baker and Pastor Mark Shafer officiating.  Burial will follow in the McLean Cemetery.  Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Friday, March 19, 2021 at the Morgan Funeral Home – 252 Montvue Drive, Lewisburg, WV.  In lieu of flowers please consider donating to the McLean Cemetery c/o Eddie Shafer – 944 Masters Road, Ronceverte, WV 24970 or to the Calvary Methodist Church Cemetery c/o – Jim Jeffries – 142 Maple Grove Subdivision Road, Lewisburg, WV 24901.  We will be following COVID-19 regulations and require guests wear a mask and maintain social distancing.  Online guestbook can be signed at www.morganfh.net .  Arrangements by Morgan Funeral Home, Lewisburg, WV.
