Denny Powell

Denny L. Powell, 58, of Ronceverte passed away Sunday, April 22, 2013 at Hospice Care in Elkins. Born February 4, 1955 at Ronceverte, he was the son of the late Nash L. Powell and Phyllis Honaker Powell. He was a 1973 graduate of Greenbrier East High School and a graduate of Nashville Auto Diesel Mechanic School. Most of his work was with Dale Earnhardt Chevrolet in Concord, NC. Denny is survived by his son, Mike and wife, Sandy Frank of Canaan Valley; two grandsons, Mason and Nate; sister, Becky Powell of Ronceverte; niece, Jennifer Moore and a great nephew, Zachary. Services will be 11:00 AM Thursday, April 25, 2013 at Rhema Christian Center in Fairlea with Pastor Stewart Farley officiating. Burial will follow in Salem Cemetery at Organ Cave. Tommy Boone, Darrell Honaker, Doug Honaker, Adam Wykle and Bob Shafer will serve as pallbearers.
