Donald Earl Moore

LEWISBURG, WV – Donald Earl Moore, 62, of Lewisburg, West Virginia, passed away at home on January 1, 2026.

Donald was born January 18, 1963, in Richmond, Virginia, to Wilbur Nicholson Moore and Betty Sue King Liming.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents and half-brothers Wayne, Eugene, Dennis, and Gerald Liming.

He is survived by his companion of thirty years, Tracy Brown; his sons, Donald Moore Jr., Kyle Moore (Cheylane), Michael Moore, and Kenneth Moore; his daughter, Melissa Covey (Jason); brothers, Don Wesley Liming (Susan), Craig Liming, Joseph Rouse (Rita), and Tommy Rouse; sisters, Lisa Alexander (Wally Dorsey) and Lisa Wright; nine grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at Morgan Funeral Home in Lewisburg, WV, with Pastor Hat Defibaugh officiating. Visitation is Tuesday, January 6, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Private family burial will follow the service in the Empty Pockets Cemetery, Williamsburg, WV.
