Donnie Milburn Ellis

RENICK, WV – Donnie Milburn Ellis, 70 of Renick, WV passed away Sunday, February 4, 2024, at his home. Born October 19, 1953, in Marlinton, WV, he was the son of the late Benjamin and Gladys Ellis. Donnie worked as a logger most of his career.  He was known as “Bear Hunter” by his bear hunting crew.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Shelby Lynn Ellis and a niece, Beverly Sue Ellis.

Survivors include his loving wife of over thirty-three years, Sharon Ann Lewis Ellis, daughter, Samantha Dawn McCoy (Bobby), brother, Benjamin Harrison (Brenda), sisters, Annabell McMillion, and Charlotte Lucille Siers (Melvin), granddaughter, Mya McCoy, several nieces, and nephews.

Funeral service will be 11:00 AM, Thursday, February 8, 2024, at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel, Lewisburg, WV with Pastor Robert Hefner officiating. Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service in the Ellis Chapel Cemetery on Brushy Flats.
