Donnie "Don" Perry

Donnie "Don" Perry, 77, of Lewisburg passed away peacefully Thursday, July 4, 2013 at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center. Born June 25, 1936 in Wayne County, he is the son of the late Ray and Bertha Perry. After his retirement from Jim C. Hamer Lumber Company , he enjoyed the outdoor life style of hunting and fishing with his family and friends. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter Kathy, two brothers, Dale and David and one sister, Carol Ann Sammons. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Virginia "Jenny" Perry of Lewisburg; sons, Chuck and wife, Sheryl of Brookshire, TX, Jeff of Tennessee and Rick of Bend, OR; daughter, Janet Sue of Colorado; brothers, Roy of Charleston, SC and Joe and wife, Charlene of Kenova; sister, Dot of Huntington; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Memorial services will be 2:00 PM Sunday, July 7, 2013 at Neola Baptist Church, Rt. 92, White Sulphur Springs with Pastor Ralph Hubbard officiating. Family and friends may call at the church one hour prior to the funeral.
