RONCEVERTE, WV - Dorothy K. Pursley Lester, 68, of Ronceverte, WV passed away Friday, March 17, 2017 at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center, Ronceverte, WV. Born October 11, 1948 at Akron, OH she was the daughter of Ruth Nicholson of Ronceverte and the late Charles Mayford Pursley Sr. and Lois Joan Bailey Pursley. Dorothy had retired from Greenbrier Manor. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold K. Lester and a daughter, Mary Lester. Including her mother, survivors include three children, Aaron (Melissa) Vaughn of Akron, OH, Paula Lester of Ronceverte, WV and Allyson (Renny) Ferguson of Lewisburg, WV, grandchildren, Ciarra, Simon and Josie Vaughn, Selena Elizalde and Jayden Ferrara, brothers and sisters, Charles Pursley of Ronceverte, WV, David Pursley of Clarksburg, WV, Kenny Pursley of Marino Valley, CA, Lester Pursley of Charlotte, NC, Gary Pursley of Cookeville, TN and Sharon Ketner of Charleston, WV, special daughters, Stacey Poullott and Delilah McMillion both of Ronceverte, WV.It was Dorothys wish to be cremated.
